Alejandro Blanco Urizar, Digital Transformation Director in Seresco, has been appointed President of the Alliance for the Development of Digital Talent.
AMETIC’s strategic vision for talent development is based on “fostering a national ecosystem to develop and recognise the talents that enable digital transformation within Spain. This would allow us to promote and provide education and training in the new digital competencies that are required by the organisations of the ICT sector, other sectors that are undergoing a digitalisation process and, overall, the Spanish society, which is now under the digital transformation paradigm. This ecosystem would involve stakeholders with an open innovation model as well as public-private collaborative platforms”.
AMETIC has created the Vice-President of Talent Development position, held by Ms. Verónica Pascual (ASTI), responsible for the association's transversal 4.0 talent strategy. This past July AMETIC published a “Manifesto for the Leadership of Digital Transformation in the Spanish Economy through Talent Development”. This document has been promoted by the Spanish trade unions UGT and CCOO and the association AMETIC, and it includes a number of proposals to help Spain face digital transformation successfully.
Within its strategic plan, AMETIC has implemented the Alliance for the Development of Digital Talent and has named Alejandro Blanco President of this alliance.
